What happened. On 20 May, Nvidia reported record first-quarter revenue of $81.6 billion, up 85% year on year, with $75.2 billion from data centre (up 92%) on the Blackwell 300 ramp. CEO Jensen Huang called the AI-factory buildout 'the largest infrastructure expansion in human history'.
